The REGIO symposium is an organic chemistry conference organized annually since 1981, shared by the Universities of Basel (Switzerland), Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), the University of Haute-Alsace and the University of Strasbourg (France) allowing professors, lecturers, researchers, graduate students and local industrials to meet annually in August.

Each REGIO symposium sees the interventions of experienced speakers from the three countries giving two conferences, one conference given by an industrial colleague from the Rhine region, and  the intervention of talented young academics. This unusual format is particularly stimulating since it makes possible to address the thematic diversity and the creativity of all speakers. An additional speaker is chosen for his international reputation as a chemist and the relevance of his work throughout his career. This so-called “perspective” night conference is always very lively and particularly enriching for the youngest participants of the conference. PhD students and postdocs have the opportunity to share there last results over the 12 slots booked for oral communication, while a poster sessions is also proposed.

The REGIO-Symposium 2025 will take place at "Centre Sportif Régional Alsace", 5 rue des frères Lumière, 68200 Mulhouse.

Hosting in rooms with two-three single beds or in single rooms (Speakers, Academics, Industrials).
Hosting and food, except drinks, are included in the registration fees.

The participants are expected to be present during the whole Symposium.

FOR ACADEMIC LABS, we will group the registrations per research groups or labs, to ease the billing step. Please register online before 15th of June 2025.

Registration fees are 250 € excluding VAT for academic participants and 500 € excluding VAT for industrial participants. The payments should be made in advance for the 30th of June 2025 by purchase order or by bank transfer (All the details are sum up in this flyer)
